Hype-To-Activity Ratio™
Hype-to-activity ratio measures the number of tweets a particular coin has per each $1M in reported trading volume of that coin. As of August 15th 2019 the average Hype-To-Activity Ratio in crypto was 1.02. In other words, on average cryptocurrencies see 1.02 tweets per $1M in reported trading volume.

High Hype-to-Activity ratios may suggest that a particular cryptocurrency is overhyped in social conversations relative to the amount of trading activity that it has. It is a good metric for identifying outliers or for tracking the number of social conversations a particular coin has relative to its trading volume over time.

Hype to Activity Ratio = (30 Day Average Tweet Volume / (30 Day Average Trading Volume / 1M))

Market Cap
Sometimes called network value, the Market Cap is a representation of the value of the entire network for a particular cryptocurrency. The Market Cap is calculated by multiplying the current price by the circulating supply. This provides a representation of the value of all tokens currently in circulation.

Market Cap Dominance
Market Cap Dominance is the percentage of the combined Market Cap of all cryptocurrencies that an individual cryptocurrency represents.

NVT Ratio
The NVT Ratio is calculated by dividing the network value (Market Cap) by the average trading volume of a cryptocurrency over the last 30 days. The NVT ratio is sometimes thought of as a P/E ratio for the crypto space. A lower NVT ratio implies that a given cryptocurrency is trading at a low multiple of its average daily volume. A higher NVT ratio implies that a given cryptocurrency is trading at a high multiple of its average daily volume.

NVTweet Ratio™
The NVTweet Ratio compares a cryptocurrency's social conversation relative to its Market Cap. The NVTweet Ratio looks at how many tweets a particular coin has per each $1M in Market Cap.

The lower a coin's NVTweet Ratio the more tweet volume it has per $1M in market cap.

An increasing NVTweet Ratio could suggest that a particular coins' market is becoming increasingly driven by institutional trading. As market cap is increasing faster than social volume, this may suggest less retail involvement in the market for a particular coin.

NVTweet Ratio= Market Cap / 1M / 30Day Average Tweet Volume

Number of Twitter Users
The number of Twitter users tweeting about a particular coin on a specific day.
Percentage of Tweets Coming From Unique Accounts
The percentage of tweets on a specific coin on an individual day that are coming from unique twitter accounts. A score of 50% for Bitcoin, for example, would suggest that half of Bitcoin tweets are coming from unique twitter users.

Price
The current price of a particular cryptocurrency, i.e. a volume-weighted average of the price on various exchanges.

Reported Trading Volume
The trading volume of a particular cryptocurrency over the last 24 hours reported by a collection of the largest exchanges. This is based on CoinMarketCap data and may not be entirely reflective of the actual volume in a particular market.

Trading Dominance
The percentage of overall Reported Trading Volume for every cryptocurrency that an individual cryptocurrency accounts for on a given day.

Tweet Dominance
The percentage of overall cryptocurrency tweets that an individual cryptocurrency accounts for on a given day.
